Look what I bought!

Look what I bought! The Fine Arts van Gogh figure. Apparently he was first in a line of planned more which sadly never happened.
The easil can be opened and closed, and the picture has a real frame at the backside. The box with paints cannot be closed. He has some joints in the hips and shoulders.
There is another (smaller, cheaper) van Gogh figure out there, which is not as detailed, so make sure you get the right one if you want one.

This is the link where I got him: http://www.amazon.com/VINCENT-Fine-Arts-Action-Figure/dp/B000O8PBCA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1426544799&sr=8-1&keywords=van+gogh+figure

This is a picture of the other one: http://cdn4.nerdapproved.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/vangoghaction.jpg?874fb4

Finally, there is also a 1:6 version but it is very expensive: http://serang.tistory.com/979

Here's an interview with the artist: http://redplanettoys.blogspot.de/2012/08/one-on-one-interview-with-serang-kim.html
