Today I posted my Thanksgiving pictures to my Tumblr account. When I left work in the evening it had 27 notes.
I went to a concert and when I returned a few hours later I found 582 notes and it is still rising by the minute.
So how come it had climbed that quickly in just a few hours? The reason is I got reblogged from THE official Doctor Who page. And from there it snowballed with more people reblogging and therefore more seeing it. Got a few new followers out of it as well (although I get a new one almost every day, 449 at the moment).

Seems opening a Tumblr account was the right decision then ;)
