I don't know, I just liked them! And they might come in handy one day for my picture stories. Even though they are only 12 cm high and the Torchwood figures are 15 cm high. But it's very hard to get "ordinary" people - all there is are either superheroes, monsters, soldiers or Wrestling stars. Plus figures for all kind of movies, series and even musicians. But as long as it is a recognizable face, it can't be used as an "ordinary" person. For the dealer's room of my miniature Doctor Who-Torchwood-convention I used Primeval figures, but still there are a lot of Doctors and companions among the "fans"... can't be helped. I'm glad I have at least grandmother Conelly as a representant of the elderly generation of John Barrowman fans LOL
